Programa “Pitch Sabesp” premia projetos inovadores. ABES é parceira da iniciativa

Companhia recebeu 585 propostas, originadas de pessoas físicas e empresas brasileiras e internacionais; inscrições de 19 estados brasileiros e oito países: Inglaterra, EUA, Israel, França, Suíça e Austrália.

Nesta terça, 11, a Sabesp realizou o evento “Pitch Sabesp” para apresentação dos projetos finalistas a bancas examinadoras. Combate a perdas, pagamentos de contas, soluções ambientais e formas diferenciadas de se relacionar com os clientes estiveram entre as temáticas de Pessoas Físicas e Startups. A ABES é parceira da iniciativa. O presidente nacional da entidade, Roberval Tavares de Souza, foi um dos jurados da categoria Startup.  E Pierre Siqueira, conselheiro da entidade e membro da ABES Seção São Paulo, integrou a mesa de jurados da categoria Pessoa Física.

Entre 15 selecionados a Sabesp anunciou 3 vencedores na categoria pessoa física que receberam certificado de participação e viagem a um dos maiores festivais de inovação e tecnologia – o South by Southwest e 5 startups que receberam R$ 150 mil reais em prêmios. As propostas vencedoras serão colocadas em prática dentro da empresa.

“É difícil imaginar hoje que a gente possa melhorar a qualidade da prestação de serviços de saneamento sem pensar em inovação radical. O cidadão quer ver no atendimento público a eficiência e rapidez de respostas que ele tem em sua vida privada.”, disse a diretora presidente Karla Bertocco ao avaliar a relevância das propostas no aprimoramento do atendimento ao cliente.

Antes das apresentações dos finalistas na categoria Startup, Roberval Tavares de Souza falou ao público. “É um orgulho para a ABES fazer parte desse projeto”, frisou. Lembrou que a entidade está presente, há 52 anos, em todo o Brasil e que vem trabalhando, principalmente nos últimos dois anos, na construção de projetos como o da Sabesp para levar inovação ao setor de sanamento. Roberval destacou a criação pela ABES da Câmara Temática para falar exclusivamente de inovação [CT de Comunicação e Inovação no Saneamento]. Contou que no Congresso ABES/Fenasan 2017, foi instituído o Espaço Startup. E que este ano, durante a Rio Water, que aconteceu de 26 a 28 de novembro, no Rio de Janeiro/RJ, o evento foi realizado novamente.

“Temos muitas oportunidades no Brasil”, enfatizou o engenheiro. “São mais de 30 milhões de pessoas que não têm acesso à água potável no país, mais de 100 milhões sem acesso aos serviços completos de esgotamento sanitário. Temos mais de três mil lixões que trazem muitas doenças, pioram a saúde e a qualidade de vida da população”, elencou. “Neste roll de oportunidades, a ABES vem trabalhando forte para conseguir ter projetos, modelos como este para que possamos alavancar a questão da inovação como um grande direcionador de melhorias para o setor de saneamento brasileiro”, concluiu.

Projetos inovadores 

No total foram 585 propostas inscritas, originadas de pessoas físicas e empresas brasileiras e internacionais. Participam empreendedores de 19 estados brasileiros e de oito países: Inglaterra, Estados Unidos, Israel, França, Suíça e Austrália.

O desafio mais concorrido foi “Como facilitar o pagamento pelos clientes” e a área que recebeu mais propostas foi a de “tecnologias para o saneamento”, com 238 projetos inscritos.

A realização do Pitch Sabesp contou com o apoio da Associação Brasileira de Engenharia Sanitária (Abes), Associación Interamericana de Ingenieria
Sanitaria y Ambiental (Aidis), Instituto Trata Brasil e Banco Interamericano de Desenvolvimento (BID).
