Um Projeto de Lei (PL) do relatório da Comissão Especial da Alerj para a Baía de Guanabara, divulgado nesta quarta-feira,27, propõe que cerca de 60% dos recursos do Fundo Especial de Controle Ambiental – Fecam sejam destinados aos projetos de saneamento ambiental no Estado do Rio de Janeiro – atualmente, 50% dos recursos são aplicados. O período mínimo para ação, segundo o documento, é de 20 anos ou até que 100% dos domicílios fluminenses estejam interligados às Estações de Tratamento de Esgoto (ETE).
A Comissão especial da Assembleia também quer tombar orla da Baía e financiar ações de despoluição.
De acordo com o relatório, a Baía de Guanabara recebe, diariamente, 400 toneladas de esgoto doméstico, 64 toneladas de resíduos orgânicos industriais, sete toneladas de óleo e 300 quilos de metais pesados.
