RBCIAMB prorroga até 10 de outubro prazo para envio de artigos da edição temática “Biomas brasileiros e suas territorialidades”

Esta publicação será composta por 15 trabalhos, contemplando em seu conjunto, os seis biomas do Brasil.

A Revista Brasileira de Ciências Ambientais (RBCIAMB) proorogou até 10 de outubro o prazo para envio de trabalhos para edição temática sobre os biomas do Brasil. A chamada abre espaço para o debate sobre os biomas brasileiros e suas territorialidades e disseminar conhecimentos sobre sua conservação e uso sustentável a partir das territorialidades específicas construídas ao longo da história.

O território brasileiro compreende seis biomas (Amazônia, Caatinga, Cerrado, Mata Atlântica, Pampa e Pantanal). Cada um tem suas características, com flora e fauna e dinâmicas sociais, populacionais e econômicas particulares que resultam em diferentes territorialidades.

Além dos componentes naturais, como vegetação e fauna, cada bioma é um habitat específico para diferentes espécies e fornece serviços ecossistêmicos e ambientais, além de outros recursos para a sobrevivência das populações humanas que neles vivem. Os biomas também são ambientes específicos a partir da relação das pessoas, seus costumes e culturas com o meio ambiente. Nessa perspectiva, as especificidades geradas por cada contexto podem contribuir para sua degradação, conservação ou contradição inerente a esses dois processos.

As territorialidades decorrem da ocupação do território, onde ocorrem as relações objetivas e subjetivas. É o espaço geográfico, etológico no qual, em sua apropriação pelos atores locais, se constroem redes sociais, culturais, políticas, simbólicas e econômicas. Nessa perspectiva, entender a dinâmica dos biomas é uma análise dos diversos “Brasis” intrínsecos à construção histórica, cultural e social do país.

Esta edição temática será composta por 15 artigos, contemplando em seu conjunto, os seis biomas
brasileiros, abordando preferencialmente as suas diversas características relacionadas com as respectivas territorialidades. Análises comparativas ou que relacionem mais de um bioma são desejáveis. Havendo número maior do que 15 trabalhos aprovados, eles comporão uma edição temática
2 ou serão alocados nas edições de fluxo contínuo da RBCIAMB, a critério da equipe editorial.

Os manuscritos devem atender às condições de submissão da RBCIAMB, seu fluxo e critérios de avaliação, e suas normas e diretrizes na aba Submissões do site. Os artigos devem ser submetidos pelo sistema (acesse aqui). Duas opções de seção estarão disponíveis no momento da submissão: artigo e edição temática. Para esta chamada, você pode escolher a segunda opção. E nos comentários ao editor, certifique-se de que a submissão se refere à edição temática.

Os artigos podem ser enviados em português ou inglês; os autores devem traduzi-los para o inglês se aprovados. A publicação será apenas em inglês.

A RBCIAMB é classificada como A3 no Qualis Capes .
