Excelente notícia para a comunidade científica e técnica: a Revista “Engenharia Sanitária e Ambiental” (ESA), veículo de informação técnica da Associação Brasileira de Engenharia Sanitária e Ambiental (ABES), está ampliando sua internacionalização. Para aumentar os índices de citações, fator de impacto (JCR) e classificação junto ao Qualis da Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior (Capes), a ESA passará a receber contribuições somente no idioma inglês, a partir do dia 1º de julho de 2022.
A ESA tem por objetivo oferecer à comunidade científica um meio de divulgação das atividades de pesquisa em saneamento e/ou meio ambiente. Tem como principal missão a disseminação, no mais alto padrão nacional e internacional, dos estudos técnicos e científicos das engenharias e áreas afins sobre as temáticas sanitária e ambiental.
A Revista (ESA) vem implementando um conjunto de medidas com o intuito de tornar o processo de revisão e publicação cada vez mais ágil, assim como melhorar ainda mais a qualidade dos artigos publicados.
A submissão dos artigos continuará a ser pelo sistema ScholarOne e os artigos continuarão disponibilizados de forma gratuita na Plataforma Scielo (acesse aqui).
Esta mudança acontecerá simultaneamente ao lançamento, neste ano de 2022, de seu novo periódico intitulado “Cadernos Técnicos de Engenharia Sanitária e Ambiental (CTESA)”. Os CTESA publicarão, nos idiomas português ou inglês, edições trimestrais na forma da Notas Técnicas, com submissões por chamadas, abertas ou fechadas, e volumes especiais de eventos científicos.
