ABES-MG prestigia evento em Dia Mundial do Meio Ambiente

No dia 5 de junho, Dia Mundial do Meio Ambiente, a presidente da ABES Seção Minas Gerais (ABES-MG), Mônica Bicalho, participou de atividade promovida pela Organização Não Governamental Ponto Terra. O evento marcou o lançamento do Centro de Educação Ambiental Ponto Terra (CEA Ponto Terra), empreendimento voltado a atividades de educação ambiental, que será implantado em uma área superior a 4000 m², no distrito de Cachoeira do Campo, Ouro Preto (MG). 

Também prestigiaram o lançamento os associados da ABES Carlos Orsini, Tereza Bernardes e Márcia Azevedo, da ABES-ES.

Visando estimular a participação da sociedade e exercer o uso democrático do novo espaço, a Radio Ponto Terra lançou também o Prêmio Ambiental Radio Ponto Terra.  O concurso visa receber sugestões que colaborem com a implantação do CEA, ou que favoreçam a utilização do espaço e as práticas ambientais. As propostas podem ser enviadas até o dia 3 julho de 2017. As três sugestões mais criativas receberão certificado de participação e uma vaga em cursos de curta duração, oferecidos pela Ponto Terra.

Durante o lançamento houve uma breve explanação sobre a atuação da Ponto Terra no desenvolvimento de Planos de Educação Ambiental (PEAs), em consonância com a nova Deliberação Normativa DN 214/2017. A temática foi abordada pelo comunicador social e educador ambiental Carlos Alberto Rocha e pela engenheira civil e gestora ambiental Lucilene Vieira Santos. Ambos, especialistas em Educação Ambiental, responsáveis pelo desenvolvimento e implantação de inúmeras ações de Educação Ambiental em parceria com a Ponto Terra.
