Desafios do Saneamento Ambiental: participações de empresas públicas e operadores privados marcam debate no Rio de Janeiro

A ABES promoveu, nesta terça-feira, 11 de julho, no Rio de Janeiro/RJ, mais um encontro do Ciclo de Debates “Desafios do Saneamento Ambiental no Brasil”. Realizado no CREA-RJ, o evento contou com um público de mais 60 participantes, entre os quais representantes de empresas públicas e operadores privados do estado.

Além da palestra sobre os 10 anos da Lei de Saneamento e o saneamento na Região Sudeste e no Rio de Janeiro, ministrada pelo presidente nacional da ABES, Roberval Tavares de Souza, a programação contemplou um forte debate, segundo ele, acerca do “saneamento público e privado”.

A participação das empresas públicas e operadores privados, de acordo com Roberval Tavares, fortaleceu a discussão acerca tema. “Foi um debate muito bom”, ressaltou. “Fica cada vez mais claro que é a união do público e do privado que vai tirar o saneamento de onde está para que possa caminhar forte para a universalização”, completou o presidente nacional da ABES.
