Congresso ABES Fenasan 2017: lançada a CT Drenagem e Manejo das Águas Pluviais

A Câmara Temática de Drenagem e Manejo das Águas Pluviais, coordenada por Luiz Fernando Orsini Yazaki, teve seu lançamento oficial no dia 5 de outubro, durante o Congresso ABES Fenasan 2017, realizado em São Paulo de 2 a 6 de outubro.

O painel que lançou a Câmara abordou o panorama da drenagem e do manejo das águas pluviais no Brasil. Com a Lei 14445/2007 os serviços de drenagem e manejo de águas pluviais passam a ser reconhecidos como um dos componentes do Saneamento Básico. Dez anos depois, ainda persistirem muitas dúvidas, mas existem boas perspectivas para o setor.

Entre os desafios a serem enfrentados estão a regulação, as possibilidades de concessão e da cobrança direta pelos serviços. Atualização tecnológica e aprimoramento da gestão também são aspectos relevantes que devem ser debatidos com mais intensidade.

“Assumindo seu papel de vanguarda no saneamento básico, a ABES lançou a Câmara, contribuindo para o desenvolvimento desse componente do Saneamento Básico. Abre também um espaço para discussão sobre o estado da arte da engenharia de Drenagem e outros temas que certamente interessam aos que buscam novos conhecimentos sobre o tema”, afirma o coordenador Luiz Fernando Orsini Yazaki.

Participaram do painel de lançamento: Alberto Bovo, consultor especialista em regulação de serviços de saneamento, abordando o tema “Regulação e cobrança pelos Serviços de Drenagem e Manejo de Águas Pluviais”; Joel Goldenfum, professor da UFRGS, falando sobre “Tecnologias atuais de manejo de águas pluviais”; Nilo Nascimento, professor da UFMG, discorrendo sobre “Poluição difusa”; e Pedro Algodoal, engenheiro da Prefeitura Municipal de São Paulo, tratando do tema “Práticas de Gestão”.
