Alberto Porto é o novo coordenador do Programa Jovens Profissionais do Saneamento da ABES Seção Bahia (JPS/BA). Graduando em Engenharia Sanitária e Ambiental da Universidade Federal da Bahia– UFBA, ele foi aluno-pesquisador vinculado ao Conselho Nacional de Desenvolvimento Científico e Tecnológico – CNPQ, onde desenvolveu pesquisa no campo das Políticas Públicas em Saneamento Rural. Alberto também foi Gerente de Projetos na ESA Jr. – Empresa Junior de Engenharia Sanitária e Ambiental da UFBA e diretor de Marketing e Relações Públicas na gestão 2015. Atualmente ele atua com Saneamento Rural, na Companhia de Engenharia Hídrica e Sanemanto da Bahia – CERB.
