ABES Conecta: Encontro Temático da Seção RS discute PMOs no saneamento e gerenciamento eficiente de projetos estratégicos

O debate foi moderado por Luciano Diaz, coordenador adjunto da CT Governança Corporativa e Jurídica da ABES e gerente do Departamento de Gestão de Riscos Corporativos da Sabesp e contou com palestras de representantes da Corsan, Copasa e Embasa. Assista!

A Associação Brasileira de Engenharia Sanitária e Ambiental Seção Rio Grande do Sul (ABES-RS) promoveu nesta quinta-feira, 28 de julho, mais uma edição do Encontro Temático. Desta vez especialistas abordaram o tema “PMOs no Saneamento – Gerenciamento Eficiente de Projetos Estratégicos”.

O evento foi realizado no programa ABES Conecta, com transmissão pelo canal da ABES no YouTube.

O debate foi moderado por Luciano Diaz, coordenador adjunto da Câmara Temática de Governança Corporativa e Jurídica da ABES e gerente do Departamento de Gestão de Riscos Corporativos da Sabesp (Companhia de Saneamento Básico do Estado de São Paulo). E contou com participação de Thais Teixeira, administradora e coordenadora executiva do Escritório de Programas Estratégicos da Embasa (Empresa Baiana de Águas e Saneamento); Karla Cypriano, gestora do Escritório de Gerenciamento de Projetos Estratégicos da Corsan (Companhia Riograndense de Saneamento); e Diego Wilhelm, Head of PMO da Presidência da Copasa (Companhia de Saneamento de Minas Gerais. 

Na ocasião, os especialistas falaram sobre a implantação e funcionamento do  PMO (sigla em inglês para Project Management Office) nas empresas de saneamento, destacando importantes experiências no assunto.

A palestrante Karla Cypriano iniciou sua apresentação falando sobre a Corsan e a área de PMO, que é uma estrutura que tem como objetivo padronizar, gerenciar e monitorar projetos, programas e portfólio, vinculada à presidência da companhia. A engenheira explicou sobre como é feito o planejamento, elaboração e o desenvolvimento para a gestão e execução dos projetos, que segue um modelo de gestão de estratégia e a metodologia MPBPOK, que foi adaptada ao ambiente da empresa.

O engenheiro Diego Wilhelm abordou a implantação do PMO na Copasa. O objetivo é determinar a elaboração dos projetos nos níveis estratégicos, tático e operacional, otimizar recursos e investimentos para refletir o ambiente de negócios em mudança. Segundo ele, a equipe é formada por 155 profissionais,  com foco na execução, agilidade e qualidade na entrega de projetos.

Thais Teixeira, por sua vez, explicou que na Embasa, a implantação do PMO teve início há um ano, visando, entre outros objetivos, alcançar a universalização do saneamento, garantir a sustentabilidade econômico-financeira, aprimorar a imagem e a reputação da empresas. Ela discorreu ainda  sobre a estruturação dos programas estratégicos, ferramentas de gerenciamento e resultados.

No final, os participantes esclareceram o debate o tema e esclareceram as dúvidas do público, que contou com mais de 110 pessoas e foi bastante participativo.
