Câmara de Resíduos Sólidos da ABES discute ampliação nacional do Diadesol 2023

O foco do encontro online foi discutir a ampliação da campanha, que é promovida pela ABES-SP e ABES-RS, para todo o Brasil, com o intuito de fortalecer as experiências adquiridas a cada edição.

Nesta terça-feira, 14 de fevereiro, a diretoria da Câmara Temática de Resíduos Sólidos da Associação Brasileira de Engenharia Sanitária e Ambiental – ABES realizou a primeira reunião do grupo Diadesol 2023 – Dia Interamericano de Limpeza e Cidadania. 

O foco do encontro online foi discutir a ampliação da campanha, que é promovida pela ABES-SP e ABES-RS, para todo o Brasil, com o intuito de fortalecer nacionalmente as experiências adquiridas a cada edição. Anualmente, a iniciativa contempla os concursos de Desenho Infantil e Video Amador como forma de estimular a conscientização de crianças, adolescentes e jovens sobre questões relacionadas aos resíduos sólidos.

O Diadesol, realizado juntamente com a AIDIS (Associação Interamericana de Engenharia Sanitária e Ambiental) busca incentivar as escolas e seus alunos a refletirem sobre as questões dos resíduos e seus impactos no meio ambiente e na saúde, e estar alinhada com os Objetivos de Desenvolvimento Sustentável (ODS) estabelecidos pela Organização das Nações Unidas (ONU).

No mesmo dia 14, a DIAMSA/AIDIS – diretoria responsável pelas ações de educação ambiental e mobilização social da AIDIS, reuniu representantes de vários países para trocar ideias e estimular ações nas Américas.
