O presidente nacional da ABES, Alceu Guérios Bittencourt, e o presidente da ABES-SP, Luiz Pladevall, participaram, no dia 6 de outubro, na sede do Sindicato Nacional das Empresas de Arquitetura e Engenharia Consultiva (Sinaenco), do lançamento doBoletim do Saneamento, um novo instrumento que nasce para apoiar, colaborar e incentivar a implantação do novo Marco do Saneamento.
O portal é resultado da parceria entre a ABCE (Associação Brasileira de Consultores de Engenharia), a Apecs (Associação Paulista de Empresas de Consultoria e Serviços em Saneamento e Meio Ambiente) e o Sinaenco (Sindicato Nacional das Empresas de Arquitetura e Engenharia Consultiva) e é voltado para o gestor público, com foco na divulgação de informações especializadas para melhor entendimento do planejamento e das ações para implantação e operação dos sistemas.
O Boletim do Saneamento oferece informações de fontes confiáveis e dados seguros, visa a melhoria e ampliação dos serviços, contribuindo para a tomada de decisões dos gestores na ampliação e melhoria dos serviços de saneamento nas suas localidades.
Na ocasião, Alceu parabenizou as entidades pelo projeto e ressaltou a complexidade do setor de saneamento. “Vocês tiveram uma iniciativa muito boa. Acompanhei e sei que foi difícil e continuará sendo difícil de manter e alimentar, mas sempre insisto que, de longe, o saneamento é a infraestrutura pública mais complexa, muito difícil e muito diversificada.”
O presidente nacional da ABES frisou ainda que não há soluções padronizadas e que os debates públicos sobre o tema trazem simplificações, de que há soluções simples e que se vai resolver tudo. “Não é assim. As soluções são muito diversas. Acho extremamente útil uma iniciativa como esta, que leva informação para gestor público, para o público interessado e para os próprios prestadores de serviço, num setor complexo como o nosso, que vai continuar vivendo nos próximos anos essa discussão sobre como evoluir na implantação do marco e como buscar a universalização, como atender realmente aos que não têm serviço, que é o essencial. Acho que é um instrumento importante, que vai ajudar nessa luta nos próximos anos. Parabéns a todos!”
O presidente da ABES-SP, Luiz Pladevall, destaca a importância deste movimento em prol do caminho para a universalização do saneamento. “É um trabalho importante de três entidades conceituadas e atuantes, que representam o setor de consultoria, estudos, projetos, supervisão e gerenciamento em várias áreas da Infraestrutura, e que estão dando, com esta iniciativa, foco para o saneamento. Com certeza, o Boletim contribuirá muito para auxiliar prefeitos e gestores públicos em busca de caminhos para questões importantes, como o alcance de 99% da população com abastecimento de água e 90% com coleta e tratamento de esgoto. Também será um instrumento expressivo no que diz respeito às metas de redução de perdas de água e o enorme desafio de atingirmos um índice de 25% como média no Brasil”.
