ABES Pernambuco cria três Câmaras Técnicas

Seção passa a ter agora as Câmaras de Gestão de Perdas e Eficiência Energética, de Saneamento Rural e de Recursos Hídricos. 

A Associação Brasileira cde Engenharia Sanitária e Ambiental – Seção Pernambuco (ABES-PE) criou três Câmaras Técnicas. São elas: Câmara Técnica de Gestão de Perdas e Eficiência Energética, coordenada por Adalberto Cavalcanti Coelho; Câmara Técnica de Saneamento Rural, coordenada por Dilermando Justino; e Câmara Técnica de Recursos Hídricos, coordenada por Djair Barros. 

Além destas, a ABES-PE já contava com a Câmara Técnica de Resíduos Sólidos, coordenada por Bárbara Cavalcanti. Segundo o presidente da Seção, Cristiano José da Silva, o objetivo é ampliar o debate para promover ações sustentáveis, garantindo o futuro das próximas gerações 

“A União faz a força. As Câmaras Técnicas de Pernambuco, com as Câmaras Temáticas nacionais da ABES, poderão criar eventos como seminários e congressos para informar e buscar soluções, junto às parcerias com órgãos públicos e empresas privadas do setor e a academia, para ampliar as discussões”, diz Cristiano.

Segundo ele, a Câmara Técnica de Gestão de Perdas e Eficiência Energética foi criada porque há um índice alto com relação ao desperdício da água, além do controle deficiente da energia elétrica. “Muita gente não tem informações para planejar ações que melhorem, otimizem o consumo da água e da energia”, afirma. 

Já a Câmara Técnica de Saneamento Rural nasceu por conta da necessidade de fazer crescer o saneamento na área rural de Pernambuco, devido aos grandes índices de doenças e impactos ambientais. 

No caso desta Câmara, o coordenador, Dilermando Justino, explica que o trabalho será de grande importância, tendo em vista a grande demanda por saneamento no país, principalmente na zona rural onde a carência é grande. “Para mim é uma novidade. Fui escolhido pelo presidente da ABES-PE para acompanhar o seminário de saneamento Rural aqui em Pernambuco (mais informações em breve neste site) visto a necessidade da criação da câmara”, considera Justino. 

“A princípio, vamos acompanhar os procedimentos das demais câmaras, uma vez que estamos iniciando neste momento em uma situação muito especial, que é o seminário em nosso estado. Como é uma nova câmara e para mim também e uma novidade, buscaremos experiências com as demais câmaras, aplicando também ações e conhecimento de Pernambuco”, diz também. 

CT Perdas e Eficiência Energética

Adalberto Cavalcanti Coelho, coordenador da Câmara Técnica de Gestão de Perdas e Eficiência Energética, comenta a importância da Câmara Técnica de Gestão de Perdas. “Mudar a situação da gestão de perdas, que é muito ruim com non revenue water de 45% (água não faturada). Algumas grandes capitais metropolitanas apresentam perdas superiores a 60%, quando as perdas na Alemanha e Japão por exemplos, são entre 5 e 7%”, explica.

“No momento, precisamos reverter essa situação. No Brasil, infelizmente o aspecto perdas foi na realidade passado a um nível secundário. Se analisarmos a eficiência das empresas, verificamos que nos últimos dez anos o NRW está estagnado. As principais ações devem ser promoção de cursos, seminários, etc; ncentivo a pesquisas de stores típicos de abastecimento (DMA); implantação nas universidades de uma cadeira, Gestão de Perdas nos currículos de Engenharia Civil e Sanitária”, elenca Adalberto. “Os engenheiros aprendem como dimensionar e implantar redes de água, mas saem se saber nada de gestão eficiente de um sistema de abastecimento de água”, completa.

Segundo o novo coordenador, “as ações componentes de um programa precisam estar integradas com empresas de água/esgotos, universidades, órgãos de classe, ABES, AESBE, ABNT, INMETRO, fabricantes de equipamentos. Incentivar a divulgação de experiências bem-sucedidas na Gestão de perdas e eficiência energética”.

Adalberto ressalta também que “o tema é bem amplo, recentemente lancei um livro com apoio da AESBE, CAGEPA, COMPESA um novo livro que aborda como profundidade o tema: Como Reduzir as Perdas em Sistemas de Abastecimento de Água. Pretendemos buscar parceria no meio para promover seminários nacionais, curso para cada projeto específico de combate as perdas. São 21 cursos, envolvendo praticamente todas as unidades de uma empresa concessionária de água”, conclui.

CT Recursos Hídricos

Por fim, a Câmara Técnica de Recursos Hídricos surge devido à escassez de água no estado em alguns períodos do ano e vai tratar também de qualidade, controle da água nos rios e contaminantes. 

Além disso, de acordo com o presidente da Seção, a Câmara Técnica de Resíduos Sólidos, que já existia, “vem atuando junto com os órgãos ambientais da Pernambuco, promovendo ações para acabar com os lixões, de educação ambiental, e desenvolver as cooperativas de catadores, entre outros”.
