ABES-PE promove discussão sobre avanço na disposição de resíduos sólidos no estado

Evento integra a Campanha nacional da ABES “Brasil, te quero livre de lixão” e está disponível no canal da ABES no YouTube.

Nesta terça-feira, 07 de junho, a Associação Brasileira de Engenharia Sanitária e Ambiental – Seção Pernambuco (ABES-PE) promoveu o webinar “Avanço na Disposição de Resíduos Sólidos Urbanos em Pernambuco”, um evento da campanha “Brasil, te quero livre de lixão”.

Com transmissão pelo programa ABES Conecta, no canal ABES Saneamento no YouTube, o encontro online teve apresentação de Cristiano Silva, presidente da Seção, e mediação de Bárbara Cavalcanti, coordenadora da Câmara Técnica de Resíduos Sólidos da ABES-PE e membro da CT de Resíduos nacional.

Os palestrantes convidados foram Pedro Teixeira, auditor de Controle Externo do Tribunal de Contas do Estado do Pernambuco (TCE-PE), Eduardo Elvino, diretor de licenciamento ambiental da Agência Estadual de Meio Ambiente e Recursos Hídricos– CPRH de Pernambuco, Christiane Roberta, advogada, coordenadora do Centro de Apoio Operacional (CAO) do Meio Ambiente – Ministério Público-PE, e Breno Lôbo, sócio da empresa Mega Mak. 

O webinar teve início com Christiane Roberta, advogada, coordenadora do Centro de Apoio Operacional (CAO) do Meio Ambiente – Ministério Público-PE, que falou sobre as atividades desenvolvidas pelo órgão, relacionadas à legislação ambiental, gestão e destinação de resíduos sólidos, legalização de aterros sanitários, projetos ambientais e reciclagem. 

Pedro Teixeira, auditor de Controle Externo do Tribunal de Contas do Estado do Pernambuco (TCE-PE), falou sobre a distribuição e disposição final de resíduos sólidos e a diminuição dos lixões, desde 2014 até os dias de hoje, no estado do Pernambuco. Ele discorreu também sobre monitoramento, desafios e soluções para a deposição correta dos resíduos. 

O diretor de licenciamento ambiental da Agência Estadual de Meio Ambiente e Recursos Hídricos– CPRH de Pernambuco, Eduardo Elvino, abordou, entre outros temas, o crescimento de aterros sanitários e a destinação adequada para aterros, taxas ambientais e instrumentos legais da legislação.  

Por fim, Breno Lobo, sócio da empresa Mega Mak Gestão Ambiental, relatou sobre a importância da iniciativa privada nesse segmento em demonstrar o trabalho de mitigações e operações de aterros sanitários. Há mais de dez anos a empresa executa a gestão, implantação e operação de aterros sanitários em Pernambuco.
