A Associação Brasileira de Engenharia Sanitária e Ambiental Seção São Paulo (ABES-SP) e a Associação Brasileira de Geologia de Engenharia e Ambiental (ABGE) promoveram, nesta terça-feira, 3 de maio, um webinar com o tema “Chuvas, Deslizamentos, Tragédias: Como fazer o gerenciamento das áreas de riscos e evitar ou reduzir desastres nas cidades”.
A abertura do evento, que foi transmitido pelo canal da ABES-SP Saneamento no YouTube, teve participação de Luiz Roberto Pladevall, presidente da ABES-SP; e Delfino Luiz Gouveia Gambetti, presidente da ABGE. A moderação foi feita por Fernando Facciolla Kertzman, vice-presidente da ABGE.
Os palestrantes foram Leonardo Andrade de Souza, Consultor especialista em Áreas de Riscos Geológicos; Sidnei Furtado Fernandes, Diretor da Defesa Civil em Campinas, Coordenador Regional e Coordenador da Câmara Temática de Proteção Civil na região metropolitana de Campinas; e Catia Valente, Head de Projetos Governamentais da Climatempo.
“O evento é voltado para questões que têm afetado, há muitos anos, a nossa comunidade. Particularmente nos últimos dois, três anos, e agora nesse verão de uma forma muito grande”, introduziu o moderador Fernando Facciolla Kertzman.
Na ocasião, o presidente da ABES-SP agradeceu os participantes e falou sobre a importância do tema. “A ABES-SP, em parceria com a ABGE, organizou esse webinar com um tema super atual. Hoje, os eventos extremos estão cada vez mais recorrentes. Tanto na falta quanto no excesso de chuvas. O objetivo é contribuir com ideias e ações que possam minimizar o impacto desses eventos extremos para a comunidade”, destacou Pladevall.
“Sem dúvida é um assunto muito importante e recorrente, infelizmente, mas com ajuda das nossas associações e dos nossos técnicos brasileiros, eu acho que a gente vai conseguir ainda chegar a um ponto melhor, ano a ano”, disse Delfino Luiz Gouveia Gambetti, presidente da ABGE.
Em seguida, foram feitas as apresentações dos convidados. A primeira palestra teve como título “Instrumentos existentes no Brasil relacionados ao planejamento urbano e à gestão de risco geológico e hidrológico”, e foi ministrada por Leonardo Andrade de Souza, consultor especialista em Áreas de Riscos Geológicos.
Sidnei Furtado Fernandes, diretor da Defesa Civil em Campinas, coordenador Regional e coordenador da Câmara Temática de Proteção Civil na Região Metropolitana de Campinas, abordou “A importância da visão sistêmica na construção de cidades resilientes”.
Por sua vez, Catia Valente, head de Projetos Governamentais da Climatempo, trouxe a palestra “O que pode ser feito para ajudar os Gestores Públicos a minimizar os impactos frente aos eventos meteorológicos que atingem nossas cidades”.
