Debate acerca do tema contou com participação de especialitas da USP, da ICLEI América do Sul e do Instituto Brasileiro de Desenvolvimento e Sustentabilidade, com moderação de Flávia Mourão, presidente da ABES-MG.
Um painel especial abordou Política de Meio Ambiente no Brasil durante o 32º Congresso Brasileiro de Engenharia Sanitária e Ambiental (CBESA) – Congresso da ABES 2023. O tema foi destaque no último dia do mais importante evento de saneamento ambiental do páis, na quarta-feira, 24 de maio. Para aprofundar o assunto, os convidados foram Rodrigo Perpétuo, Diretor Executivo da ICLEI América do Sul, Eric Sawyer, Presidente do Conselho do Instituto Brasileiro de Desenvolvimento e Sustentabilidade (IABS), e Marcelo Pereira de Souza, Professor da Universidade de São Paulo (USP).
A moderadora foi Flávia Mourão, Presidente da ABES Seção Minas Gerais. “O painel falou sobre políticas ambientais e trouxe reflexões importantes. Abordamos tanto a questão histórica da política, quanto às formações das cidades, licenciamento ambiental e programas que têm sido feitos nas áreas rurais com o sentido de proteger o pequeno produtor”, destacou Flávia.
Ponto de encontro do setor
Promovida pela Associação Brasileira de Engenharia Sanitária e Ambiental – ABES, esta edição do mais importante evento de saneamento ambiental do Brasil teve como tema central “Saneamento ambiental: desafios para a universalização e a sustentabilidade”. O Congresso da ABES é o ponto de encontro do setor e dos sanitaristas do país e aconteceu de 21 a 24 deste mês, envolvendo a comunidade acadêmica, especialistas do setor e organizações parceiras brasileiras de outros países para discutir os temas mais relevantes em engenharia sanitária e ambiental em sua concepção mais ampla, abordando desafios, políticas públicas, soluções e tecnologia.
Em conjunto com o Congresso, foi realizada a Feira Internacional de Tecnologias de Saneamento Ambiental – FITABES, reunindo os maiores e mais atuantes fornecedores de tecnologia, materiais e equipamentos do setor. Clique aqui e confira as imagens do evento.
