O 32º Congresso Brasileiro de Engenharia Sanitária e Ambiental (CBESA), o Congresso da ABES 2023, realizado na capital mineira, recebeu na última terça-feira (23) uma palestra magna sobre a visão de Minas Gerais para a universalização dos serviços de saneamento. Para falar sobre o tema, o palestrante foi Rodrigo Franco, subsecretário de Estado de Gestão Ambiental e Saneamento de Minas Gerais. O moderador foi Mario Cezar Guerino, vice-presidente nacional da ABES.

Realizada pela Associação Brasileira de Engenharia Sanitária e Ambiental -ABES, esta edição do mais importante evento de saneamento ambiental do Brasil aconteceu no Expominas, em Belo Horizonte, de 21 a 24 de maio, e teve como tema central “Saneamento ambiental: desafios para a universalização e a sustentabilidade”. De forma simultânea, aconteceu também a Feira Internacional de Tecnologias de Saneamento Ambiental – Fitabes, em edição ampliada, com novidades em tecnologia e inovação.
“Foi um prazer falar sobre as perspectivas e avanços no saneamento de Minas Gerais. O Estado tem feito um trabalho eficiente. Vemos os avanços por meio dos números. Debatemos aqui no congresso com a plateia cheia, com os maiores players e stakeholders envolvidos nesse trabalho de saneamento, que a gente acredita muito que muda a vida das pessoas. Minas Gerais está de portas abertas para as discussões e grandes pautas como esta”, afirmou Rodrigo Franco.
“O subsecretário de Estado de Gestão Ambiental e Saneamento fez sua palestra com dados interessantes e apresentou a visão que o estado tem hoje sobre a infraestrutura de saneamento básico do país. Foi uma palestra importante, com público intenso, atencioso. Foi muito positivo”, avaliou o moderador Mario Guerino. “O Congresso é um sucesso. Estamos recebendo um feedback positivo de quem está participando”, disse o vice-presidente nacional da ABES, na ocasião. “É um congresso grandioso, com uma presença de público excelente. A feira também está muito bem-organizada. Essa é uma realização importante da ABES e estamos muito satisfeitos com esse sucesso”, enfatizou também Guerino.
