Neste domingo, 27 de agosto, os estudantes da ETEC Campinas, Beatriz Ruscetto, Matheus Henrique Cezar da Silva e Gabriel Gertrudes Trindade, participaram da 21ª edição do Prêmio Jovem da Água de Estocolmo (Stockholm Junior Water Prize – SJWP), que reúne jovens de todo o mundo para solucionar desafios relacionados a água e sustentabilidade. O trio venceu a etapa brasileira do prêmio, que que foi realizada em São Paulo, em junho deste, e teve o coordenador nacional do JPS, Álvaro Diogo Teixeira, como um dos jurados, com o trabalho “STAC-IBR: Solução para o Tratamento de Água nas Cisternas Instaladas no Brasil”(leia mais).
O projeto dos estudantes brasileiros apresenta um equipamento capaz de gerar cloro a partir da eletrólise de uma solução salina, visando contribuir para a saúde da população do seminário nordestino.
A etapa brasileira foi organizada pelo Parlamento Nacional da Juventude pela Água e pela Associação Brasileira de Recursos Hídricos.
