A edição, que aconteceu entre os dias 5 e 9 de dezembro, em Belém e com transmissão pelo YouTube, teve todas as discussões e diálogos norteadas pelo Novo Marco Regulatório do setor, que abrange o meio técnico, científico e político.
Com o tema “A Regulação no Contexto da Universalização do Saneamento”, a Associação Brasileira de Engenharia Sanitária e Ambiental Seção Pará (ABES-PA) realizou entre os dias 5 e 9 de dezembro, a 12ª edição do Workshop ABES-PA 2022. Todas as discussões e diálogos do evento versaram sobre o Novo Marco Regulatório do setor, que abrange o meio técnico, científico e político. O evento aconteceu de forma híbrida: presencial, na Uninassau, em Belém, e online, com transmissão pelo canal da ABES-PA no YouTube (assista aqui).
No dia 7, no auditório do Clube de Engenharia do Pará, o workshp contou com presenças da Agência Reguladora do Município de Belém (ARBEL); Agência de Regulação e Controle de Serviços Públicos (ARCON); Agência de Secretários Municipais de Meio Ambiente de Santa Cruz do Arari e Jacareacanga, diversos profissionais, estudantes, além do meio empresarial, que prestigiaram uma tarde de palestras e homenagens.
O 12º Workshop ABES-PA promoveu discussões intersetoriais acerca da regulação no setor do saneamento básico no contexto do Novo Marco Regulatório, visando a universalização da prestação dos serviços. O workshop faz parte do Programa de Desenvolvimento de Recursos Humanos da ABES, com o intuito de promover a capacitação profissional dos seus associados e demais profissionais do Estado do Pará.

Nesta edição do evento, foi realizado o curso Plano Municipal de Saneamento Básico: Instrumento de Controle Social e Regulação, ministrado pelo Eng. Davi Cavalcante, marcando o início do XII Workshop ABES-PA 2022, de tema “A Regulação no Contexto da Universalização do Saneamento”.
Na abertura do evento, a presidente da ABES-PA, Vanessa Mello, e a coordenadora Estadual do JPS, Ellen Veloso, estiveram presentes para recepção e boas-vindas dos cursistas, formado por profissionais e estudantes da capital, e dos municípios de Jacareacanga e Santa Cruz do Arari.
Na oportunidade, Vanessa Mello reforçou a importância da ABES-PA estender sua atuação/participação em todos os municípios paraenses e convidou a todos para conhecer e participar das realizações da seção paraense da Associação.
