ABES presente na abertura do 47º Congresso da Asseame

O vice-presidente nacional da ABES, Carlos Alberto Rosito, representou a entidade, nesta segunda-feira, 19 de junho, na cerimônia de abertura do 47º Congresso Nacional de Saneamento da Assemae, que acontece em Campinas/SP, até o dia 22.

Na ocasião, o presidente da Assemae, Aparecido Hojaij, destacou que o Congresso celebra os 10 anos de criação da Lei 11.445/2007, considerada o marco regulatório do saneamento no Brasil. Hojaij também defendeu a necessidade de fomentar linhas permanentes de acesso a recursos públicos para saneamento, além de destacar os instrumentos de regulação, controle social e planejamento como ações fundamentais para o desenvolvimento do setor. “Esta será uma semana de trabalho intensa, em favor da saúde dos brasileiros, por meio do saneamento básico. O documento final do evento indicará as diretrizes para as ações da Assemae junto aos municípios brasileiros, em especial ao associado, nossa razão de existir”, acrescentou.

Rosito ressaltou que “foi uma grande uma grande satisfação para a ABES participar da abertura do congresso. “O evento está tendo um grande êxito na cidade de Campinas/SP, que em si já é um dos motivos deste sucesso. Temos mais de 1.600 participantes inscritos, mais de 50 estandes de fornecedores e entidades do setor de saneamento e um programa de painéis e mesas redondas muito interessantes.”, disse o vice-presidente nacional da ABES. Ele mencionou a Palestra Magna ministrada por Leo Heller, relator especial da ONU para o direito humano à água e ao saneamento, professor da Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais – UFMG e associado da ABES,que precedeu a abertura: “foi uma palestra brilhante”.

O engenheiro participou entre as diversas autoridades nacionais do setor de saneamento básico e lideranças municipais de todas as regiões do país, entre elas, o presidente da Fundação Nacional de Saúde (Funasa), Rodrigo Sérgio Dias, o diretor do Departamento de Articulação com os Estados e o Distrito Federal da Secretaria Nacional de Assuntos Federativos da Presidência da República, Flávio Gomes, o secretário nacional de Saneamento Ambiental do Ministério das Cidades, Olavo de Andrade Lima Neto, o diretor-presidente da Agência Nacional de Águas (ANA), Vicente Andreu Guillo, o superintendente nacional de Saneamento e Infraestrutura da Caixa Econômica Federal, Adailton Trindade, o presidente da Federação Nacional dos Urbanitários (FNU), Pedro Tabajara Blóis Rosário, e o diretor-presidente da Sanasa, Arly de Lara Romêo, que representou o prefeito de Campinas, Jonas Donizette.
