Brazil Water Week inova com formato online e é sucesso de realização

Entre os dias 26 e 30 de outubro, evento reuniu mais de 120 especialistas de 16 países para debater a água em seus amplos aspectos e fez história.

Terminou nesta sexta-feira, 30 de outubro, a Brazil Water Week (semana da Água do Brasil). O mais importante evento internacional sobre água realizado no país, uma iniciativa da ABES – Associação Brasileira de Engenharia Sanitária e Ambiental, inovou e fez história mais uma vez. Durante cinco dias, estiveram reunidos virtualmente mais de 120 especialistas de 16 países para discutir a água em seus diversos aspectos e apresentar experiências, com foco no ODS 6 da ONU: Água e Esgoto para todos até 2030. Ao todo, foram 30 sessões temáticas, divididas em oito temas principais. 

Um dos destaques da BWW 2020, transmitida como uma programação de TV, foi o Conexão BWW (o show do intervalo), que entre uma sessão e outra brindou o público com entrevistas, comentários e videopalestras de convidados internacionais. Também apresentou diariamente a ação social com a Van Solidária, que percorreu comunidades na Região Metropolitana de São Paulo para mostrar como o saneamento transforma a vida das pessoas.   

Além da programação temática, a BWW trouxe ainda sessões especiais abertas ao público, sessões de networking e oficinas do JPS sobre educação ambiental.

Conexão BWW

Sucesso da Brazil Water Week, o último Conexão BWW, apresentado pela jornalista Daniela Lobo, recebeu no estúdio Luís Eduardo Grisotto, diretor da ABES-SP, coordenador da Câmara Técnica de Recursos Hídricos da seção e coordenador do tema “Financiamento” da BWW. Daniela conversou também com Carlos Berenhauser, diretor da ABES-SP e coordenador da Câmara Técnica de Gestão de Controle de Perdas da seção. 

Outros convidados do show do intervalo foram Nagib Abrahão, gestor de Geoinformação da Sabesp, autor do livro “Aplicações GIS para empresas de saneamento básico”, que foi lançado durante sessão especial da BWW, em 22 de outubro (assista aqui). Paulo Massato, especialista em saneamento, que fez o prefácio da obra, e Márcio Gonçalves, presidente da ABES-SP, também estiveram presentes para comentar sobre a publicação. O livro estará disponível para vendas a partir da semana que vem na Livraria Virtual da ABES-SP.

Luiz Henrique Bucco, presidente da ABES-PR, foi outro convidado do Conexão BWW. Na oportunidade, ele falou sobre os preparativos para o 31° Congresso da ABES, que será realizado em 2021, em Curitiba, no Paraná.

Sessão Networking

A última Sessão Networking da Brazil Water Week falou sobre Governança corporativa, carreiras e novas oportunidades, com Reynaldo E. Young Ribeiro, conselheiro fiscal – Diretoria Nacional da ABES.

Van Solidária

Nesta sexta-feira, 30, a Van Solidária visitou a Comunidade do Jardim Panorama, na Zona Oeste da cidade de São Paulo. Durante esta semana da BWW, a Van Solidária esteve 5 comunidades na cidade de São Paulo. Ao todo, foram entregues 1500 kits de higiene pessoal, 1500 kits com alimentos, 1500 cobertores e também informações de como combater a covid-19.
