ABES participa de reunião do 8° Fórum Mundial da Água

A Associação Brasileira de Engenharia Sanitária e Ambiental esteve presente, na última quinta-feira, dia 23, em uma videoconferência para alinhamento das atividades do 8°Fórum Mundial da Água, que será promovido entre os dias 18 e 23 de março de 2018, em Brasília/DF.

Na reunião foram abordadas a temática e descrição da Sessão 2 do tema “Pessoas” –  Tópico B – Saneamento integrado para todos do Fórum.

A sessão está sendo liderada pela ABES, representada pela diretora da entidade, Marisa Guimarães, que em conjunto com o Instituto Federal de Educação, Ciência e Tecnologia da Paraíba (IFPB), o Grupo SUEZ, o Departamento de Meio Ambiente e Mudanças Climáticas da Universidade do Serviço Civil da Etiópia e a Companhia de Saneamento de Minas Gerais (COPASA) definirá sua a composição.

Nesta segunda-feira, 4 de dezembro, será realizada mais uma reunião.

ABES no Fórum Mundial da Água

O Fórum Mundial da Água acontece a cada três anos e é uma iniciativa do Conselho Mundial da Água, uma organização internacional com sede em Marselha, na França, composta por representantes de governos, academia, sociedade civil, empresas e organizações não governamentais, formando um significativo espectro de instituições relacionadas com o tema água.

O evento é organizado pelo Conselho Mundial da Água (WWC), pelo Ministério do Meio Ambiente (MMA), representado pela Agência Nacional das Águas (ANA), e pelo Governo do Distrito Federal, representado pela Agência Reguladora de Águas, Energia e Saneamento do Distrito Federal (Adasa).

A ABES – Diretoria Nacional e a ABES-SP participam da Seção Brasil do Conselho Mundial da Água (que é presidido pelo brasileiro Benedito Braga, secretário de Saneamento e Recursos Hídricos do Estado de São Paulo), que promove o Fórum.

O engenheiro Alceu Guérios Bittencourt, membro do Conselho Consultivo da ABES-SP, é um dos quatro brasileiros que integram o Comitê Temático do Fórum.

No Grupo de Coordenação Temática, entre os nove temas do evento, Carlos Alberto Rosito representa a ABES no tema “Urbano”.

Entre os coordenadores de tópicos e sessões temáticas, além de Marisa Guimarães, Renato Giani Ramos, coordenador da Câmara Temática da ABES de Dessalinização e Reúso, também participa na sessão “Reúso”.
