Com renomados palestrantes de diferentes países, além dos especialistas nacionais, o I Seminário Internacional Controle de Perdas e o Enfrentamento da Escassez Hídrica contou também com uma plateia de mais de 500 profissionais do saneamento interessados em aprofundar seus conhecimentos sobre o tema. Promovido entre os dias 5 e 7 de julho no Hotel Holiday Inn – Parque Anhembi, em São Paulo, o encontro, que foi sucesso de organização e participação, foi coordenado pelo diretor da ABES e presidente nacional eleito para o Biênio 2016/18, Roberval Tavares de Souza, e realizado no âmbito da Câmara Temática Gestão de Perdas, que tem coordenação de Ricardo Röver Machado.
Diante dos diversos pontos de vistas apresentados, novidades, diferenças e semelhanças entre as realidades brasileira e internacional, os participantes destacaram o significado das discussões no contexto de suas profissões e para o setor.
Para Sônia Mitri, da Área de Planejamento da Unidade de Negócios Leste, da Sabesp, o evento veio em um momento oportuno – pós crise hídrica. “Hoje, conseguimos analisar os resultados”, disse. “E todas as palestras estão focando exatamente isso: o planejamento de uma crise. Acredito que as pessoas estão muito mais preparadas. O encontro mostrou união e que o mundo convive com o mesmo problema, mas que em todo lugar há ideias para combater as perdas e milhões de trabalhos”, ressaltou, mas ponderou: “falta disciplina e foco para melhorar a questão. Mas a reunião desse conhecimento todo é muito rica”, concluiu.
“Essa iniciativa é muito importante”, afirmou Onofre Assis, da Sanesul – Empresa de Saneamento do Estado de Mato Grosso do Sul. Segundo ele, o Brasil precisa trabalhar e enfrentar esse problema das perdas. “Não em razão da crise hídrica que foi estabelecida na região Sudeste”, pontuou, “mas sim pela necessidade de você ter um programa, pela importância que a água tem na qualidade de vida da população. Então, o tema é extremamente oportuno”, complementou. “Parabenizo à ABES pelo evento, por trazer e sensibilizar todas as companhias de saneamento do Brasil a estarem participando do evento, e discutir esse assunto que, seja em maior ou em menor proporção, é uma questão inerente a todas as companhias brasileiras.”
Os projetos de saneamento de outros países foi o que mais chamou a atenção de Meire Souza, funcionária da Sabesp, que avaliou o evento como bastante interessante. “Acabamos aumentando o leque de conhecimento e vendo o quanto a Sabesp trabalha bem”, defendeu. “Foi bacana ver os palestrantes falando que realmente a nossa empresa é referência em várias partes do mundo, não só no Brasil – por ter conseguido passar pela crise hídrica. Sempre damos mais valor para as coisas de fora e o evento serviu para mostrar que o nosso trabalho também é valorizado”, enfatizou

“Atuamos [Enorsul] fortemente nessa área de perdas. Um evento bem interessante, palestras produtivas principalmente as contribuições internacionais. A palestra do Joaquim Poças, de Portugal, por exemplo, apresentou um estudo de caso da região de Porto muito parecido com São Paulo. Eles estavam em uma situação bem parecida com a da Sabesp, que é o nosso principal ponto de comparação, cinco ou seis anos atrás, e os trabalhos que eles fizeram – o mesmo que estamos começando a fazer aqui. E vemos que deu bastante resultado lá e que estamos no caminho certo.” Fernando Alvarenga, engenheiro, que atua como gestor de projetos na ENORSUL, uma das patrocinadoras do evento.
“Trabalhei na parte comercial durante alguns anos e estou participando do evento para me atualizar com as experiências de fora. Foi um seminário muito produtivo, equipe de palestrantes renomados e público também muito qualificado.
