A ABES – Associação Brasileira de Engenharia Sanitária e Ambiental enviou aos representantes do Congresso Nacional uma carta demonstrando sua preocupação com a apreciação dos vetos da Presidência da República à Lei 14.026, que institui o Novo Marco Legal do Saneamento no Brasil (leia aqui a íntegra da carta e o posicionamento sobre os vetos neste link).

A ABES entende que a rejeição aos vetos é essencial para restaurar a possibilidade de um ambiente de entendimento para a implantação dos novos mecanismos, de modo a não se perder o foco na busca da universalização dos serviços, com qualidade, equidade e eficiência.

A ABES defende que a universalização dos serviços deve ser buscada com incentivo à qualidade e eficiência dos prestadores de serviço e dos reguladores e com boas decisões dos poderes concedentes, sem desestruturar o que existe e funciona adequadamente, quaisquer que sejam as intenções de reorganização do setor.

Você também pode escrever ao parlamentar de seu estado pela derrubada dos vetos e pelo cumprimento dos acordos do Congresso. Participe da campanha, enviando mensagem aos parlamentares.
