Na última sexta-feira, 9 de agosto, foram realizadas as cerimônias de posse para o biênio 2019-2021 em três Seções Estaduais da ABES: Minas Gerais, Paraíba e Ceará.
A solenidade da ABES-MG foi realizada no auditório do Crea-Minas, em Belo Horizonte. O evne e contou com a presença de diversas autoridades mineiras ligadas ao saneamento, gestão e meio ambiente. Compuseram a mesa solene o presidente reeleito da seção, Rogério Pena Siqueira, a vice-presidente, Maeli Estrela Borges, e Witan Silva, coordenador do do JPS-MG; o vice-prefeito, Paulo Lamac; o diretor técnico, Ricardo Simões, que representou o presidente da Copasa, Carlos Eduardo Tavares de Castro; o presidente do Crea-Minas, Lúcio Borges; o presidente do SINDILURB, Marcos Vinicius Rocha Savoi; a deputada estadual, Ana Paula Siqueira; o diretor geral da Agência Reguladora ARSAE-MG, Gustavo Gastão Corgosinho. Após uma breve saudação dos membros da mesa, Rogério Siqueira agradeceu a presença de todos e discursou em nome da diretoria e conselhos.
A posse da nova Diretoria da ABES-PB, encabeçada pela presidente, Jaqueline Pequeno da Silva (em sua segunda gestão) e pela vice-presidente Elisângela Maria Rocha, aconteceu no Empório Gourmet, em Manaíra, João Pessoa – PB. Na oportunidade, foi apresentada a equipe do programa Jovens Profissionais do Saneamento – JPS da ABES-PB, que também tomou posse. O evento contou ainda com reflexões acerca dos atuais desafios do saneamento no cenário nacional e da importância da parceria entre o JPS-PB e a ABES a nível estadual.
Já a nova Diretoria da ABES Seção Ceará (ABES-CE) para o biênio 2019-2021 tomou posse nesta sexta, 9 de agosto, na sede do SENGE-CE. Humberto de Carvalho Junior manteve-se presidente por mais uma gestão.
É interessante ver a renovação de diretoria e conselhos estaduais da ABES em estados como Minas Gerais, Paraíba e Ceará. Fico pensando se os desafios de saneamento mencionados na Paraíba são mais acentuados devido a alguma questão climática específica da região ou se é um problema geral do país.
