Simpósio de Dessalinização e Reúso/Fortaleza: debates sobre o tema reforçam que o Brasil ainda tem muito para avançar

O 1º Simpósio Nacional sobre Dessalinização e Reúso: Viabilizando Alternativas à Escassez Hídrica, realizado em Fortaleza/CE, nesta quinta, 23, reuniu grandes especialistas para discutirem acerca do tema. O Painel 3 abordou as “Aplicações e Práticas de Dessalinização e Reuso”. O evento foi promovido pela Associação Brasileira de Engenharia Sanitária e Ambiental – ABES na capital cearense, em parceria com a ABES Seção Ceará e a Câmara Temática Dessalinização e Reúso da ABES.

O encontro é uma das etapas preparatórias para o Congresso ABES Fenasan 2017, o maior encontro de Saneamento Ambiental das Américas, que será promovido em São Paulo de 2 a 6 de outubro (saiba mais aqui).

Segundo o coordenador do Painel, Fernando Gomes, da Aquapolo Ambiental, o debate foi muito denso com apresentação de situações reais. “Tivemos vários cases sobre tratamento, dessalinização e exemplos muito significativos que mostraram para a plateia que o assunto não é uma aventura, que é algo que no mundo já tem uma consolidação forte”, frisa. E ressalta que “o Brasil ainda tem muito que avançar na questão do saneamento e coleta e tratamento de esgoto”.

O Prof. Adrianus C. Van Haandel, do Programa de Pós-Graduação em Engenharia Civil e Ambiental – UFCGAs, ministrou a primeira palestra, abordando “Práticas de Reúso de Água; José Roberto Ramos, da RWL Water, falou sobre “Práticas de Reúso de Água, com o Experiências de Dessalinização; e com Atul Injatkar, da VA TECH WABAG LTD, apresentou sobre “Aplicações e Práticas de Dessalinização e Reúso – Soluções por WABAG”.

Ainda conforme Fernando Gomes, do ponto de vista de empreendimentos, foram mostrados vários modelos de negócios a maior parte voltada para a questão da dessalinização. “A intervenção do Prof, Adrianus C. Van Haandel foi bastante interessante porque mostra um Brasil real. Um país que ainda não coleta e não trata esgoto ou que coleta e trata mal o esgoto que gera”, destaca Fernando Gomes. “Ficou um pouco destoado dos outros palestrantes que falaram sobre plantas milionárias, mas o professor trouxe a pitada do Brasil como ele é”, compara.

Ele acrescenta que o público presente teve a oportunidade de ter contato com as maiores empresas e playes mundiais e puderam ver grades exemplos e diversas experiências. “A ABES possibilitou esse contato direto. Essa concorrência – são diversas empresas apresentando temas semelhantes –  implica que bem-aproveitada pode ser boa para que o Brasil compre soluções internacionais a bom preço”, afirma.
