Moderado pela presidente da ABES-ES, Andreia May, encontro online reuniu mulheres coordenadoras do JPS em 9 seções estaduais da ABES.

A Associação Brasileira de Engenharia Sanitária e Ambiental – ABES, por meio do programa Jovens Profissionais do Saneamento – JPS, promoveu nesta quarta-feira, 31 de março, a terceira e última “Roda de Conversa Mulheres no Saneamento”, em comemoração ao Mês da Mulher.

Moderado por Andreia May, presidente da ABES Seção Santa Catarina, o webinar discutiu mais uma vez o papel e a importância das profissionais no setor e nas respectivas áreas de atuação.

A roda de conversa reuniu mulheres coordenadoras do JPS em 9 seções estaduais da ABES: Renata Farias Oliveira (JPS-RS), Maria Fernanda Garrubo Bentubo (JPS-SP), Marcela Felix (JPS-GO), Barbara Aiala (JPS-MG), Rayssa Jacob (JPS-RJ), Priscilla Basilio (JPS-ES), Mariana Matias (JPS-JF), Jessica Lima (JPS-MS), Lu Moreira (JPS-SC) e Regina Coeli (JPS- PE).  Camila Quintão, técnica em Meio Ambiente e Segurança também participou do evento online representando a mulher na indústria. Ela trabalha na indústria metalúrgica e já desenvolveu trabalhos com resíduos e efluentes sanitários e industriais. 

As convidadas narraram sobre a sua trajetória acadêmica/profissional e a participação nos cargos de liderança da ABES e do JPS em seus estados e comentaram sobre a importância do saneamento para a saúde e qualidade de vida da população. Para conferir o evento completo, acesse aqui.

O Jovens Profissionais do Saneamento é um programa de desenvolvimento contínuo, criado pela Associação Brasileira de Engenharia Sanitária e Ambiental em 2010, que tem como objetivo despertar habilidades e lideranças entre os jovens que atuam em saneamento, e promover o debate de temas atuais relacionados ao setor de Saneamento e Meio Ambiente. O JPS está presente em quase todos os estados brasileiros.

O JPS proporciona aos seus integrantes ações como suporte à publicação de artigos técnicos para apresentação em congressos, divulgação de cursos, participação em eventos, promoção de visitas técnicas e palestras sobre o setor, com o objetivo de aprimorar o conhecimento acadêmico dos jovens e promover uma rede de relacionamento.
